Runtime: 110 Minutes
We're joined again by returning guest, Keefer Maresh, as we take a look back at Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, originally released in October of 2001 to Japanese audiences, and introduced to North American audiences in October of 2005. We look at an early childhood event that planted the seed that would become the Ace Attorney series in which future Ace Attorney creator, Shu Takumi was accused of a crime he did not purposefully commit. We talk about Takumi's career before he was given the opportunity to create Phoenix Wright, and talk about the history of the visual novel genre to which it belongs. Finally, we talk about its legacy 20 years later, and the genre it helped revitalize on today's trip down Memory Card Lane.
