Today, we're going to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Elder Scrolls series by looking at the development of its first title, Elder Scrolls: Arena. As part of its story, we'll look back at the history of its development studio, Bethesda Softworks. We'll talk about their early library, and talk about the risk they took by developing this game. Finally, we'll talk about the success of Arena, future Elder Scrolls titles, and our own experiences with the game. Join us for today's gladiator of a trip down Memory Card Lane.
