Episode 117:

Beware of Monkey Country

Runtime: 61 Minutes

Today, we'll tell you the story about Donkey Kong Country, one of the best-sellings titles for the SNES. Released in November of 1994, it was a game whose graphics were unlike anything thought capable on the console. As part of the game's history, we'll discuss the history of its development studio, Rare, and Rare's creators, the Stamper Brothers. We'll also talk about the development process that went into making Donkey Kong Country so special. There's no monkey business here as we take today's trip down Memory Card Lane.
